This Is What A Wall-Bomb Looks Like
This morning, we posted a blog on Firedoglake.com calling for people to use Facebook to target Rep. Pete Stark (D-CA), a usually reliable progressive who is refusing to pledge to only support a healthcare plan with a strong public option and holding a fundraiser today with healthcare lobbyists. We supplemented it with some ads on Facebook in his district too. Here’s the ad:

That was a few hours ago. Here’s his Facebook wall:

Targeting Healthcare Holdouts With Facebook Ads
Our sister organization, dotPAC, uses many of the new media targeting techniques we use for our clients at CSNMS to further progressive causes and candidates. This week we’re targeting Congresspeople who are fighting to protect their insurance biz friends from real healthcare reform by placing ads in their districts telling their constituents to go to said Reps’ Facebook pages and tell them, via the Wall, that we need real healthcare reform.
If you’d like to help keep our ads up, please visit actblue.com/page/dotpac.

Our Courts Can Handle Trials Of Guantanamo Prisoners
Support the idea that our justice system can effectively prosecute terror trials. We don’t need a special military court with questionable legitimacy. Join the group here.
Protecting California’s Oceans
Two of the the CSNMS principals are active ocean fishermen, including this Southern California resident. Unfortunately, many of our fishing friends do not understand that some short term sacrifices are necessary so that kids 50 years from now will be able to enjoy catching a California Barracuda for the first time. That’s why we’re proud to be helping NRDC and The Ocean Conservancy create more Marine Life Protected Areas off of California’s coast. For more information, visit oceanconservancy.org and The Ocean Facebook Page.
