Common Sense founder, James Boyce, appeared as a guest commentator yesterday for MSNBC. He discussed whether or not Joe Wilson’s apology to President Obama is good enough, and that health care is still the more important issue.

The two most powerful Senate committees with jurisdiction over health care are staring each other down. The conservative Senate Finance Committee is set to release a bill that may not have a public option at all, not even a triggered option. But Sen. Tom Harkin (D-Iowa), who replaced Sen. Ted Kennedy as chair of the Health Education Labor and Pensions Committee (HELP), predicts that a bill with a strong public option will pass by Christmas. Read more here
