I ran across an interesting article today that I wanted to share about an interesting change that Google has rolled out for 2010 regarding its search indexing. http://www.techcrunch.com/2009/12/28/google-caffeine-faster-search-index/ The long and short of it is that Google rolled out a new way of searching and indexing websites for search, codenamed: Caffeine. Most of the changes won’t be noticeable to the “naked-eye” user. But the switch will give more priority to websites that have news, realtime and social media information and keywords. You may have noticed that Google recently launched social media results in their search results - this is following that same trend. Therefore, we have been encouraging our clients to make sure they are updating their site with timely and relevant information and not to rely archived data. This is particularly important to our clients that are using Google Adwords or have Grant accounts. As Google is constantly improving its search capabilities, keep swinging by to see how you can benefit from our expert knowledge.
